Data intelligence company Naimuri has revealed that it has doubled its headcount and substantially increased turnover in the two years since it was acquired by global defence company QinetiQ.

The Manchester-based company, which was founded in 2015, has grown to employ 140 people since the QinetiQ deal, up from 70 at the time of the takeover. It has also recorded around a 25 per cent growth in revenue over the course of 2022, a feat which it anticipates repeating in 2023 as it widens its client portfolio, supporting more projects in national security and law enforcement and winning new work within the defence sector.

Naimuri has also noted that it has significantly improved in its gender diversity as it has grown, in keeping with its mission to “make the UK a safer place to be.”

Carl Roberts, MD Of Naimuri, said: “It has been an exciting time since our acquisition by QinetiQ and despite events of the last few years and the current economic challenges, we have continued to grow, winning new clients and widening our work with existing clients. As part of our growth we have seen a positive increase in the diversity of our people, which is hugely important to us, as we continue to make Naimuri an inclusive place to work. We look forward to what can be achieved in 2023”.
