Flow Creative is behind a new campaign for BBC Children in Need, which is set to run for the next 5 years.
The Manchester animation studio has created the animation SPOTacular, which will be the wrapper around the charity’s ongoing fundraising campaigns.
The creative features a digital brand film and a set of shorter cutdown versions which will be shared online and air in cinemas.
Flow was behind Children in Needs’ first animated commercial in 2020.
“The challenge for our team was to create a film that felt appropriate for a very broad audience, and represented a diverse and multicultural population,” said Flow’s Creative Director, Karl Doran.
“We wanted the film to feel uplifting and inspiring but to also make sure that we were clear about the magnitude of the issues being faced by children and young people in the UK. With more children being affected by poverty we know the money that BBC Children in Need raises is absolutely vital.”
The script uses a spoken-word poetry style, which was voiced by rap artist Lady Leshurr.
