Manchester logistics tech firm predicts 100 per cent revenue growth for 2023

The Ceedbox team

Manchester logistics tech start up Ceedbox is predicting a 100 per cent growth in revenue for 2023 having reached profitabilty in Q3 2022.

Over the course of the year, the company has also increased its current revenue by 60 per cent and increased its client base fivefold since Ceedbox and its related companies reported sales of around £300,000 at 2021 YE.

The company has reported particular success with Leda, a ground-breaking online supply chain management tool, and TOBE, which manages the backend and helps operators to support their clients.

The logistics sector has been in flux for the past three years. Freight rates soared during lockdowns, but then dropped off significantly in 2022. For importers and exporters, this has made it almost impossible to predict prices and budget effectively. Ceedbox has set out to offer businesses clarity where before there was none.

As the company grows, the team have turned from rates to emissions in the form of their CH4e calculator, insurance courtesy of FreightCovered, consignment tracking with ContainerChase, customs and port integration from DeclareDirect and data analytics thanks to their Salesforce API.

MD Alex Grant said: “Ceedbox’s mission statement is automating the laborious manual tasks of key players so that they can focus on the true strength of business, client satisfaction and visibility.”
