The Circle of Trust, the trusted recommendations platform from Manchester entrepreneurs Tracy Johnson and Susanna Lawson, goes live across the UK today.
The Circle of Trust offers savvy consumers immediate access to genuine word-of-mouth recommendations from the people they trust the most for whatever business sector they need. From plumbers to hairdressers, mechanics to accountants and dog groomers to solicitors, the Circle of Trust allows users to access personal recommendations from their most trusted network, allowing users to feel safe in the knowledge that the service providers have the trust and endorsement of someone they know – friends, family, or someone ‘in their circle,’ and avoid the bots and paid-for reviews that can sometimes plague review sites.
The Circle of Trust has successfully gained a spot in the NatWest Entrepreneur Accelerator program, a six-month initiative designed for start-ups and entrepreneurs striving to launch or expand their business endeavours, while co-founder Lawson is a highly accomplished tech leader who has won the King’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation twice. Her track record includes successfully founding and exiting her previous education technology company OneFile.
The platform is completely free platform for individuals to use, while businesses can register their interest and create a basic profile before committing to any paid subscription. They can also explore the app’s potential on launch day before making a financial commitment. The Circle of Trust is also offering an early bird rate of £30 plus VAT for twelve months for business profiles registered before midnight on October 31.
