Manchester payment provider, Ryft, has agreed a partnership with American Express.
The fintech will be upgrading its digital platform so that ecommerce merchants can accept payments from Amex cards.
“We are delighted to announce our new partnership with American Express, a true leader in the payments industry. This collaboration marks a significant milestone for us, opening doors to exciting possibilities and reinforcing our commitment to delivering unparalleled value to our partners,” said Ryft CEO and co-founder, Sadra Hosseini.
“Moving forward, we look forward to offering merchants innovative solutions that will redefine the way people experience payments. This partnership symbolises a powerful synergy between our two businesses, and we can’t wait to embark on this journey of growth in the marketplace space together.”
Earlier this year Ryft received a grant from Innovate UK as part of its Innovation within Professional and Financial Services tender. The company said it would use the money to grow its technical team and expand into new markets.
The company’s payment platform is designed specifically for marketplaces and B2B platforms, processing millions of transactions.
