Manchester entrepreneur recognised for diversity and inclusion work

my2be's Adam Mitcheson

Adam Mitcheson, co-founder and CEO of mentoring platform my2be, has been named as one of the Top 100 global Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) leaders by American firm, Mogul.

The list highlights CEOs, HR leaders, heads of DEI, and more as leaders in DEIB around the world, and the award follows my2be’s success working with a range of clients globally to develop and elevate under-represented talent through scaled mentoring.

High profile clients have included Silicon Valley giants such as Box and Nextdoor.

Mitcheson co-founded my2be with school friend Damien Shiells after the life-changing experience of a mentoring programme in his own professional career. He has since made it his mission to help everyone access mentorship and equal opportunities to reach their full potential.

He said: “My2be makes mentoring accessible to everyone, removing the barriers of heavy admin, using sophisticated technology to automate processes impacting retention, upskilling, DEIB and more.”

Mitcheson says that the company is now beginning to achieve real success in its mission, and says companies like Box and Nextdoor have created a culture of allyship and sponsorship, helping them to develop and elevate their under-represented talent, through their work with my2be. The platform has simultaneously established itself among the world’s leading DEIB mentoring platforms.

He added: “I am beyond humbled and honoured to have been named as one of Mogul’s Top 100 DEIB leaders in 2022, especially amongst such stellar company, it is truly a reflection of the great work being delivered by our team.”
