Manchester City announces partnership with Chinese smart TV startup

Manchester City has announced a partnership with Chinese smart TV startup Whaley.

The company, which has been backed by Tencent and Alibaba, join the club’s growing list of Chinese partners ahead of games in Beijing and Shenzhen this July.

The partnership will involve the club producing exclusive 4k content to showcase Whaley’s technology.

The brand will also appear on the back of City’s playing kits for its pre-season games against Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund in China in July.
