Manchester agency expands ‘six-figure’ Sudocrem brief

Manchester-based Brazen has been awarded an extended six-figure brief from Sudocrem.

Just 12 months after being appointed as the retained PR agency for its soothing cream, Brazen is now the brand’s partner for Sudocrem’s social, influencer and content production remits following a competitive pitch process.

The agency’s Influence division, headed up by Mark Dandy (pictured), will be responsible for delivering strategic social media organic and paid plans, producing content through its content production department, Brazen Live, and running always on influencer strategies, working in collaboration with the agency’s 35-strong PR team to ensure campaigns are holistic.

Managing director at Brazen, Sasha Makel, said: “We’ve had lots of fun and success with Sudocrem over the past 12 months leveraging its Not Just For Babies’ platform – from appointing its first ever chief play officer to launching the brand’s first ever TikTok campaign that tapped into the Get Unready With Me trend – and we’ve demonstrated the impact that earned-first, cross-channel campaigns can have on reach and engagement.

“We’re looking forward to delivering fully-integrated campaigns this year, and bringing our cross-platform expertise to bear.”

Sudocrem’s digital manager, Bethany Innes, added: “The Brazen team quickly showed they understood our brand and brief, connecting effectively with our audience across various channels. We’re making great progress in promoting Sudocrem’s versatility, with exciting projects ahead this year.”
