Regional TV network Made Television will continue its expansion with the launch of a dedicated channel for Teesside.
Made in Teesside will launch on March 30th and will be available on Freeview 7 and Virgin 159, 24 hours a day.
Made Television has also been awarded the license for Mold in North Wales and will be launching a dedicated channel there later this year. The channel will be available on Freeview 8 and Virgin 159.
The launch of Made in Teesside follows the regional network’s launch of two new channels in Birmingham and Liverpool late last year.
Made Television has now expanded into eight major urban centres.
CEO Jamie Conway said: “We are very excited to be bringing Made Television to viewers in Teesside. Our commitment to provide local content that reflects the lives and aspirations of our viewers has been very successful to date and we will be replicating this for our viewers in Teesside.
“We are also committed to providing opportunities for local people to get involved in what we do and we’re looking forward to working with the local community to present a great new channel later this month.”
