Look North’s Danni Hewson has been appointed as Business Correspondent by BBC Radio 5 live.
Hewson has been Business and Money Correspondent at BBC Yorkshire’s Look North programme for the last 16 years.
Her move to MediaCityUK sees her replace Colletta Smith, who is going on maternity leave before taking up a new role as Business and Consumer Affairs Correspondent for BBC News.
Hewson, who is “Yorkshire born and bred”, spent almost two years at ITN as a production journalist before moving to Look North in January 2002.
