FACT (Foundation for Art & Creative Technology) has appointed Jo Wright has its new executive director.
He will join the Liverpool-based arts organisation in May from the Welsh Government, where he is currently head of creative industries.

Wright will support director Mike Stubbs in “further developing and delivering FACT’s business plan”.
In Wales, he helped to secure Pinewood Studio Group’s first UK studio outside London and established a £30m commercial TV and film investment fund.
He studied for an MBA at the Institute of Popular Music in Liverpool back in 2001.
Wright said: “After four successful years helping to grow the creative industries of Wales, I am delighted to be returning to work in Liverpool and being part of this wonderful city’s creative business community once again.
“I am particularly excited to be joining the fantastic team at FACT and looking forward to bringing my experience of developing creative enterprise and the wider creative economy to the organisation.”
