Lime Pictures has cast Danny Dyer (Human Traffic, Mean Machine) as a “ruthless ex-pat” in its Hollyoaks Later series for E4.
Slated for transmission in the Autumn, the 5 x 1 hour episodes are due to start filming this summer.
“I’m thrilled that we have brought together such an amazing cast for this year’s Later and with the addition of Danny Dyer, the adventures can really kick off,” said Jane Steventon, producer of Hollyoaks Later.
The episodes have been written by Kevin Rundle, Dan Berlinka, Emma Ko, James Coleman and Richard Burke. Steve Brett and Andrew Gunn are directing, while Bryan Kirkwood is the executive producer.
The story revolves around Nick Pickard (Tony Hutchinson), who agrees to undertake a dodgy deal, but falls foul of “The White Man” (Dyer).
