Lime Pictures is to film a new series for E4, where 6 single celebrities search for a soulmate.
Celebs Go Dating will match “ordinary” people with actor, Tyger Drew-Honey; reality show personalities Charlotte Crosby, Joey Essex and Stephanie Pratt; YouTuber Jack Jones; and Tattoo Fixers’ Paisley.
“We are thrilled to be working with Channel 4 for E4’s biggest entertainment series of the season. Giving unprecedented access into our celebrities lives, viewers can watch their dating ups and downs every weeknight… and if they’re feeling brave, they can even date the celebs themselves,” said executive producer and Lime’s head of entertainment, Phil Harris.
The celebrities will be partnered up by dating agency owner, Eden Blackman and matchmaker, Nadia Essex, with cameras following the 3 weeks of dating action.
“If there’s one thing we can’t bear to see at E4, it’s a celebrity who’s unlucky in love. That’s why we’ve created our own celebrity dating agency, whose sole aim is to find true romance for famous singletons. Celebs Go Dating will find real people and match them up with famous faces, all in the name of love,” added Dom Bird, Channel 4 head of formats, who commissioned the series, alongside formats commissioning editor, Simone Hayward.
The series will air every night over the course of 3 weeks.
