Scottish ad giant Leith has celebrated its move into Manchester by teaming up with a local specialist agency on a specialised policy brief.
Manchester agency Galibier, founded in 2013, already advised Leith on its recent North West England launch campaign and has now been hired to work alongside the Leith team on a client brief in the field of academia and policy.
The work carried out by the two agencies has already seen some high-profile success on the campaign, highlighting work by LSE academics and funded by Templeton Religion Trust which seeks to address social issues through inter-faith dialogue.
Leith has produced campaign assets including video and a landing page, while Galibier has secured media coverage for the LSE academics carrying out the research project.
Oliver Chesher, founder of Galibier, said: “Leith is one of the most decorated agencies outside London and one of the most respected of the modern era – the kind of company that made me want to start a career in agencies in the first place. So it’s a real privilege to be working alongside such a team – and this project, working with a university research unit and tackling major policy issues, is right up our street.”
Ed Brooke, director at Leith, added: “Galibier has welcomed us to its home town of Manchester and also helped us with our launch onto the local agency scene in the city. We are excited to be part of such a collaborative culture, which the Manchester creative community is famous for, and it’s great to find ourselves already working side by side with other members of that community.”
