Leeds digital agency twentysix is on course to achieve £16m turnover this year after several major new business wins.
The agency has recently won a contract with Riviera Travel to add to a portfolio of clients that includes Proctor & Gamble, Mercedes-Benz and Antalis.
The full service agency, which works across all digital disciplines from complex and creative design and build websites and content strategies through to SEO, PPC and analytics, started with six staff and turnover of £500,000 in 2006.
It now has a 150-strong team and multi-national partnerships with brands such as episerver, Google and DoubleClick.
Chief executive Gail Dudleston said: “More and more global and national businesses are looking outside London when it comes to digital agencies and that’s a great credit to the talent and quality of firms in the North.
“The digital sector is at the heart of the Northern Powerhouse and is thriving. Digital agencies in the North are winning new clients because of their quality, it is not down to cost. I think salaries in digital are comparable between London and Leeds.”
Approximately 60% of twentysix’s clients are global organisations and it is one of just eight agencies nationwide that have remained on the Government Communication Framework.
The agency is part of MSQ Partners, one of the top 10 independent agency groups in the UK.
