To celebrate its fifth year in business, Leeds creative agency Syn has teamed up with indie coffee brand If Up North to craft a new creative coffee blend.
‘The Good Sh!t’ was designed to both mark Syn’s milestone and celebrate Northern collaboration, with If Up North now selling the new creative blend as a special edition product, only available to buy off the shelf from its roastery in Leeds.
Chris Newell, Syn’s co-founder, said the agency is keen to “amplify the creative industry” in the North and plans to collaborate with more indie Northern brands, as well as supporting local charity organisations and creative-driven initiatives.
“As a creative business, we’re only where we are thanks to the amazing talent that make what we do possible. ‘The Good Sh!t’ lets us raise a cup of the hot stuff as a cheers in celebration to the awesome people of Syn, and give a big high-five to the creative industry of the north, who are collectively helping to put agencies outside of London on the global map,” explained Chris Newell, co-founder and creative partner at Syn.
Stephen Tyldsley, owner of If Up North, added: “When Chris came to visit us, his passion really came through, you could tell he wanted to create something special to celebrate Syn’s milestone. A lot of people don’t appreciate the detail of different blends when making coffee, so when Chris said Syn wanted to design their own blend, I couldn’t say no. We also have a shared passion and appreciation for the North, the collab made sense to me.”
