Leeds agency on the fence with multi-channel garden improvement brief

Leeds HQ’d performance marketing agency Connective3 has been appointed by the UK’s leading supplier of composite garden fencing and decorative panels, Charles & Ivy.

Charles & Ivy appointed Connective3 following a competitive pitch process due to the agency’s extensive experience in the home improvements space, which includes working with brands such as Tapi and Humberside kitchen and bathroom giant Wren Kitchens. The company has tasked the agency with delivering a connected paid media and creative strategy with the objective of accelerating brand awareness within the premium home and garden market.

The Manchester-based brand, which operates through its e-commerce site as well as two UK showrooms, has made it a mission to create a stylish, durable, low-maintenance modular fencing system to enable people to effectively transform and personalise their gardens. It has also recently grown its product range even further, including the development of slat wall products to elevate interior space too.

Claire Stanley-Manock, chief strategy officer at Connective3, said: “We are delighted to be working with Gill [Smith] and the team at Charles & Ivy to take their digital marketing to the next level, and to deliver significant growth through our creative first connected paid media strategy.”

Smith, marketing director at Charles & Ivy, added: “Connective3’s data-driven approach really impressed us during the pitch process and gave us confidence that they were the right agency to help us deliver on our ambitious growth objectives. The team and I are looking forward to getting started with our plans and I’m personally really looking forward to working with the C3 team again.”

Connective3 has just closed out its fifth year of trading, during which time it has successfully grown to a headcount of 130 with offices in Leeds, London and Manchester. The agency has also been steadily expanding internationally, and closer to home it recently acquired Leeds neighbour Powerhouse Studios, adding further creative production services to its offering.

Charles & Ivy joins a growing client roster at Connective3, which already includes global brands such as Avon, Ocado and Comparethemarket.
