A Leeds-based integrated agency has delivered a full website redevelopment with tone of voice and new copy for palliative care provider, St Leonard’s Hospice.
Ilk was appointed by the hospice to revamp its website after a challenging year dealing with the impact of COVID, in order to showcase the work it does supporting patients and families, its key people, as well as encouraging support and donations.
St Leonard’s Hospice is an independent charity based in York, providing specialist palliative care and support for local people with life-limiting illnesses.
The integrated agency delivered a new site including a content audit, newly designed site map, tone of voice, refreshed copy and imagery – with prominent calls to action to promote donating. Ilk also supplied a new CMS allowing for content updates and new pages to be made easily without the support of developers.
Gaby O’Grady, Head of Communications & Marketing at St Leonard’s Hospice, said: “It was a real pleasure to work with the team at ilk as they easily were able to scope out our project to offer us the best possible options.
“They worked collaboratively with multiple teams from across the organisation to ensure the final result was exactly what we wanted and needed as we move forward. We couldn’t be happier with the final result of our new website and we are already seeing positive results with donations.”
Nev Ridley, Managing Director of ilk, added: “We were really excited to get involved with this project for St Leonard’s Hospice as the organisation does such important work for the community. What made the project more special was that it was a real collaborative effort between everyone at St Leonard’s and the team at ilk, where we worked closely with them to make sure that the site met all team’s requirements and could be easily managed in-house going forward.”
