Leeds-based paid social agency Made Greater has promoted its Director of Operations to the role of Managing Director.
James Maisey, who has been with the business for the past two years, will steer the growth and direction of the agency as it reports its turnover has ‘exceeded’ £1m.
He will also focus on brand building and team development in his new role.
The agency, founded by Oliver Jones in 2020, employs a team of 12 people and works with brands including grocery delivery app Weezy and pet treatment firm ITCH.
James Maisey (pictured, left) said: “The move into the role of MD is the natural next step for me, as our business is at the crucial point in which it needs someone unequivocally invested in its future to navigate the business’s growth, new service offerings, and to continue to build and strengthen relationships”.
Made Greater founder and CEO, Oliver Jones (pictured, right), added: “I’m delighted that James has accepted [the] challenge to take our business to the next level as Managing Director. Our client base of ambitious new brands looking to scale quickly and disrupt their market has grown by 160% over the last 12 months – James has been integral to this growth, and I have no doubt he’ll be instrumental in replicating this success as our business goes from strength to strength.”
