A new ITV primetime quiz show is being filmed in dock10, hosted by Lee Mack.
The 1% Club is based around logic and common sense. Produced by Magnum Media, 100 contestants compete for a top prize of £100k.
“If, like me, your lack of general knowledge frustrates you when doing quizzes, then watch the 1% Club. That way, like me, you can instead be frustrated by your lack of logic,” said Mack.
“Great contestants, loads of cash to win, and guaranteed ‘I can’t believe you couldn’t work that one out Dad!’ moments to cause family disputes. I love it!
ITV has ordered 8 x 60 minute episodes of the show.
It joins a raft of entertainment series being filmed at the MediaCity facility, including ITV’s Who Wants to be a Millionaire…, BBC’s Question of Sport and Quizzness for Channel 4.
