A number of industry leaders with expertise in AI will be taking part in Prolific North’s special event next month, designed to demystify the myths and risks for agencies using AI.
In partnership with sponsors Verlingue and Hiscox, this event will be hosted on 27 February at Colony Silk Street in Manchester, where you can expect two panel sessions delving into how agencies are using AI as an opportunity to drive creativity, efficiency and results, plus uncover everything you need to know about AI myths and risks.
Following a drinks reception and introductions, the first panel with a trio of experts will explore how AI is – and will continue – to transform the agency landscape, from supercharging creativity to evolving client offerings. The panelists will also share their valuable insights into how to balance innovation with caution and how AI may shift the way agencies operate in future.
The first speaker on this panel is Danny Blackburn, chief strategy officer at KINESSO UK&I. A former journalist and content expert, Blackburn currently leads KINESSO UK&I’s strategy, creating consumer-centric, journey-based approaches that integrate 30+ capabilities across Experience, Media, Content, Data & Tech, and Consulting. He developed a data-driven, experimental method that delivers the right content at key moments.
He will be joined by Anna Rashid, chief digital innovation officer at Tangerine, who has nearly 20 years of experience working with brands such as Specsavers, Pizza Hut & Essity to deliver effective strategies with attention at the heart.
Denise Harris, chief creative officer and co-founder at Sum Vivas, will complete the panel. Sum Vivas is a leading AI-powered digital human solutions provider, where Harris spearheads the design of innovative, human-centric digital experiences that transform customer engagement. Her expertise lies in blending cutting-edge AI with emotionally engaging interactions, redefining how businesses connect with their audiences.
Following a networking break, another panel of industry experts will be gearing up to to tackle all the myths, risks, and practical strategies for agencies seeking to adopt AI responsibly while staying ahead of the curve. Louis Georgiou, co-founder at EM Code, will be one of the leaders joining this panel. As a tech veteran with nearly 30 years of experience, Georgiou co-founded EM Code (formerly Code Computerlove) in 1999. He specialises in product strategy, agile methodologies, and organisational change, and now leads AI enablement initiatives across WPP and GroupM agencies, focusing on the rollout of Generative AI applications.
He will be joined by Andy Eva-Dale, CTO at Tangent, who has over 15 years of application development experience, having worked with organisations like SAP, IWG, and Sky. He has delivered award-winning, enterprise-grade products globally, holds multiple certifications, and is an Umbraco MVP, BIMA 100 member, and Tech Leader of the Year (Prolific North Tech Awards 2024). He currently leads a 45+ strong team, mentoring on cloud-first, scalable, and secure systems while championing sustainable design, diversity in tech, and dyslexia awareness.
