Lancaster-based creative agency Hotfoot Design has been appointed by Forge Logistics following a competitive pitch to design and develop its new website.
Preston-based Forge Logistics was founded by former Army Air Corps servicemen Jamie Keen and James Rose-Shaw and now has 83 vehicles, including HGVs, delivering on contracts across the UK.
Hotfoot Design, run by partners Charlie Haywood, Aidan Watt and Guy Cookson, has been chosen to deliver a new website that will support Forge’s growth as it moves into year two of the business.
Forge Logistics Managing Director Jamie Keen said: “The speed at which Forge grew during the first 18 months took James and I by surprise, and that is testament to all the hard work of the Forge team.
“And over the last few months – powered by the rise in online shopping due to Covid-19 – our team has been working even harder to meet the exceptional demand for our services.”
Charlie Haywood, creative director at Hotfoot, added: “We’re tremendously excited to have been chosen by Forge Logistics and to work alongside them to create the company’s new website.
“Forge’s ambition is inspiring, and our team will be dedicated to supporting its growth by doing what we do best, which is creating work that clearly communicates a client’s expertise, builds trust and adds credibility to its offering.
“The last few months have been challenging for everyone in different ways, but there are still great opportunities out there and we are beyond delighted to be working with a roster of brilliant clients that are continuing to invest in design, digital and marketing to support their growth.”
Hotfoot works with clients including the University of Warwick, civil engineering manufacturers W&B, Morecambe Bay Foodbank and sustainable bamboo bedding company Lune Living.
