Burnley-based Bellyflop TV has created videos to promote the city, commissioned by Burnley Borough Council.
The film, funded by the government’s ‘Reopening High Streets Safely’ and ‘Welcome Back’ initiatives, is aimed at encouraging residents back onto local high streets now that Covid restrictions are easing.
The Reopening High Streets Safely fund is a £50 million pot available to councils in England that was originally announced in 2020, in which Burnley Borough Council was allocated £78,757.
Mark Robinson of Bellyflop TV said: “It was a pleasure working collaboratively with Burnley Borough Council, Burnley BID and Burnley Place Brand to help share the positivity that the easing of restrictions has brought.”
