The Football Association’s Commercial Director, Navin Singh, has been appointed to Lancashire Cricket’s board.
A key part of Singh’s remit will be to help the club with its digital media strategy, including the launch of Lancs TV. Lancs TV is the new digital media operation from Lancashire Cricket.
Singh joined the FA earlier this year, after 5 years as Chief Commercial Officer at United States Golf Association. There he led the global commercial strategy for the men’s and women’s US Open Championships and secured worldwide broadcast and digital media rights packages across 190 countries.
He’a also been Vice President of International Content Strategy for Scripps Networks Interactive and held senior commercial and brand roles at the WWE, Wasserman Media Group, and the Golf Channel.
At the FA he’s responsible for all aspects of its commercial strategy.
“I am delighted to be able to welcome Navin onto our Board of Directors. Navin has an impressive background in major sports businesses and will play a key role in assisting our development and growth as a Club in the many years to come,” said Andy Anson, Chair of Lancashire Cricket.
“Navin’s appointment follows a transparent recruitment process which was led by a desire to appoint somebody onto the Board with a background and experience in international digital media. We believe that Navin, adds further strength and expertise onto our Board.
“Navin will be formally ratified during the AGM at Emirates Old Trafford in April, and I hope Members and supporters will join me in wishing him a very warm welcome to Lancashire Cricket.”
He will be a Non-Executive Board Member at Emirates Old Trafford.
