The event, sponsored by business advisory firm Sedulo and Nimbus Hosting, will be hosted on 19 September from 5.30pm at Colony, One Silk Street in Manchester.
It marks the second year of this initiative from Prolific North, with the list set to showcase a fresh wave of ambitious independent agencies who are creating the biggest waves as they grow, be that financially, creatively or as an employer.

So what can you expect at the event? As well as the list reveal, we’ll be uniting the agency ecosystem for some lively panel sessions from agency leaders, hear from some of the agencies on the list, fireside chats and networking over drinks.
Join a fireside chat with Michael Heaven, who has been at the forefront of agency operations and growth for over a decade, and is now co-founder and managing director of Butterfly 3ffect.
He was a member of the founding team at Social Chain and led the agency’s expansion into the US market. Following Social Chain’s merger and IPO in 2020, he furthered his leadership and operational experience as the managing director at Offbeat Media Group, a Mark Cuban backed-venture in Atlanta.
Next, there will be a panel discussion delving into the future of independent agencies, set backs and successes, plus we’ll delve into the best ownership structure for indies.
Sam Gregory, co-CEO of Tangerine; Mark Hancock, managing director at ZUT; Louise Vaughan, co-founder and chief client officer at Definition; and Alex Willcocks, founder and managing director at Engage Interactive, will all be joining this panel session.
