Competitors will have to carry out the task before the teams present their ideas, products and code to the judging panel.

Hark and Dell have been working together throughout 2019 as part of the Dell Technologies IoT Solutions Partner Program, and have collaborated on Leeds’ first Energy Innovation Summit and Tech Show North.

Individuals taking part will be sorted into teams in the morning and junior members will have access to the ‘war room’, allowing them to use Dell’s hardware, most notably the Dell Edge Gateway 3000 Series, to communicate with lights, fans and temperature sensors.

The winning group will win a goodie bag full of prizes and the developer who stands out to the judges for their skills and technical ability will earn a two-week paid work experience at Hark.

You can sign up to take part on the Hark website.
