Journey Further launches creative offering headed by Billy Burgoyne

Leeds-headquartered performance marketing agency Journey Further has launched a creative offering and appointed Billy Burgoyne as Creative Director.

Burgoyne has worked for London agencies B-Reel & unit9, where he created campaigns for Google, VW, Honda, Three, Adidas, British Airways, Microsoft, Sony, Ford and Spotify.

He will report into Managing Director Matt Kwiecinski and initially be focused on opportunities with existing clients, providing creative support to increase performance across programmatic, paid social and PR campaigns.

“There’s a huge creative opportunity at Journey Further,” Burgoyne said. “Too many creative agencies base their decisions on unsubstantiated opinion and ego, while data-led agencies stifle creativity.

“Our Clarity at Speed proposition allows us to inform creative briefs with verifiable audience data, delivering high quality, insightful creative that connects on an emotional level.”

Kwiecinski added: “The opportunity is to find the sweet spot between a conceptual and data driven approach. This is something that very few agencies crack, but unlike most, we’re not limited by a traditional (and often outdated) creative agency thinking.”

Journey Further is now looking for “versatile and ambitious creatives, who challenge conventional thinking to join the team in Leeds, Manchester and London”.

The agency is on course to turnover £5.3m in its third year of trading, having signed partnerships with the likes of Sky, Evans Cycles and PrettyLittleThing.
