Journey Further appoints Creative Director from McCann

Amy Jones is returning to Journey Further as its new Creative Director.

Jones was Senior Art Director at the Leeds agency for almost 2 years. She left in 2023 to become Senior Creative at McCann Leeds, leading across its Content Studios and working with brands including Flymo and Ladbrokes.

“When it comes to brand and performance, I’ve been there, done that, and got both t-shirts. The shirts have been known to clash, and sometimes people aren’t sure if you can wear them at the same time, but in Journey Further I return to somewhere that advocates for both,” she stated.

“Stepping into the role of Creative Director, I’ll be bringing big brand thinking to the channels people actually consume content on – leading the team to create great work that ultimately works. I’m over the moon to be back.”

Reporting to Lauren McFarland, its Senior Director of Creative Experience, Jones will be responsible for growing the global creative offering at Journey Further.

“We are thrilled to welcome Amy back into the business. It’s not often you come across a Creative who understands the performance world, like Amy does,” said McFarland.

“Amy knows our clients’ worlds, the platforms their audiences live on and how to produce engaging and innovative creative. I’m super excited to have her talent, energy and enthusiasm back in the building ready to supercharge our creative offering.”

She will official take up the role later this month.
