ITVX has released the trailer for new comedy-drama, Significant Other, starring Katherine Parkinson and Youssef Kerkour.
Made by Quay Street Productions in Manchester, the “beautifully unconventional love story” will air from Friday.

The drama follows Sam (Kerkour), who is waiting to die, after “swallowing a cabinet full of pills.” But he’s interrupted by his neighbour, Anna (Parkinson), who’s having a heart attack and needs him to wait with her until help arrives.
The 2 lonely neighbours embark on a “hilarious, obstacle filled relationship.”
Other cast includes actor and musician Kelle Bryan (Me and Mrs Jones) as Sam’s wife Shelley, Mark Heap (Friday Night Dinner, Spaced) as Ray; Ben Bailey Smith (Andor, The Split) as Damien; Sue Vincent (Alma’s Not Normal, Mount Pleasant) as Gina; Shaun Williamson(EastEnders, Extras) as Johnny; Olivia Poulet (Doc Martin, The Thick of It) as Cathy and Will Ash (Death in Paradise, The Rising) as Paul.
