ITV orders more Gary Barlow

ITV has ordered another round of Gary Barlow’s Wine Tour, as the Take That star moves from South Africa to Australia.

Rock Oyster Media has already started filming the 6-parter, which is produced in association with Tourism Australia and sponsored by Hays Travel.

“I just had the best time filming in South Africa and was blown away by the response and people enjoying it so much. So to get to do it all again – and this time in Australia – is just brilliant!” said Barlow.

“We have already started filming and I can already tell this is going to be an epic series.”

The series will be produced by Rosa Brough, directed by Matthew Wheeler, and Ash Meneely is the director of photography.

Joined again by a host of celebrity friends, Barlow will head to the North Territory, South Australia, Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and Western Australia, and together they’ll meet chefs and wine producers across the regions.

“We’ve touched down in extraordinary places, from the big cities to the desert, we’ve explored the rainforests and the Great Barrier Reef, met some incredible people and worked alongside some astonishing wildlife,” added David Nottage, MD at Rock Oyster Media and Executive Producer of the series.

“Australia has inspired us at every turn and Gary’s openness and enthusiasm for trying new things – alongside a host of amazing guests – has helped to ensure that as well as awesome landscapes and exciting action, the series will be packed with laughs, be hugely entertaining and full of surprises! It has been such a pleasure to work so collaboratively once again with Gary and his team on this show, which reveals new and different sides to a much loved star we think we all know. Gary has been the perfect travel companion for our team in Australia, and it will be the same for ITV viewers too.”

The series is set to air in Spring 2025.
