ITVX is to debut two new podcasts about Coronation Street, Emmerdale and Loose Women.
Made in MediaCity by Lifted Entertainment (part of ITV Studios), Off Script… Coronation Street and Emmerdale will celebrate the broadcaster’s long-running soap operas.
Described as the “ultimate download” on life behind the scenes on the cobbles and in the dales, each week there’ll be interviews with some of the stars.
The series will debut on 14th March on ITVX and YouTube.

Meanwhile, Loose Women: The Podcast is produced by ITV Studios Daytime and will start on 4th March to mark International Women’s Day.
There will two shows a week, each with a different duo from the programme discussing important themes.
ITV has also recommissioned Love Island: The Morning After to coincide with the Summer series of Love Island.
Loose Women: The Podcast is commissioned by Katie Rawcliffe, Director of Entertainment and Daytime at ITV, and Paula Thomas, Commissioning Editor for Daytime.
Off Script…Coronation Street & Emmerdale is commissioned by Katie Rawcliffe and Gemma John Lewis, Commissioner, Entertainment.
“As ITVX enters its third year we are broadening the horizons of three of our cultural treasures, Loose Women and our beloved soap operas, to launch these exciting visualised podcast series, building on the great success already achieved in this area by Love Island’s Morning After,” said Rawcliffe.
