Manchester-based social media brand It’s Gone Viral has launched a new mental health campaign which will star TV personalities Cara De La Hoyde-Massey and James Tindale, and social media influencer Dan Spragg.
The limited series, Let’s Talk: Mental Health, aims to break down the stigma around mental health, and get people talking about the conditions they might be living with.
The original series, which launches today across all of It’s Gone Viral’s social platforms, coincides with Mental Health Awareness Week.
New four-minute bitesize episodes will be published on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube daily until Sunday 16th, with longer versions available on YouTube.
The full line up of contributors is Cara De La Hoyde-Massey (pictured); James Tindale; Dan Spragg; Mickey Taylor; Gabriel Cross; George Hodgson; Jess Jones and Bethan Kershaw.
Each celebrity was interviewed by Claire-Louise Adams, a wellbeing officer and mental health specialist. In the series they each share their own personal mental health journeys and discuss how they manage conditions such as anxiety and depression.
Vishnu Parmar, Creative Manager at It’s Gone Viral, said: “Our aim with Let’s Talk: Mental Health is to strip away the stigma of mental health and to show that things like anxiety and depression effect people from all walks of life.
“We are delighted that so many of the UK’s leading influencers agreed to take part and I’m confident them sharing their personal stories will inspire viewers to reach out and access support – whether that’s from family, friends or mental health professionals.”
It’s Gone Viral is part of the KOMI group which is a three divisional agency business consisting of dedicated social media, marketing, and licensing teams.
