Matt Lacey has moved from iProspect to join Code Computerlove as performance director.

Lacey, who will report directly into CEO Tony Foggett, will oversee the conversion optimisation programmes currently running for existing clients such as Hillarys, JCT600 and Swinton, as well as look to bring new clients on board.

He will also be increasing the agency’s web analytics services, working closely with Code’s parent company MediaCom North.

Code’s CEO Tony Foggett said: “We’ve carved out quite a niche in the agency landscape, and a strong reputation, for applying the iterative test, measure and learn philosophies commonplace with some of the most successful dot com businesses to the work we do for our clients. As an agency partner, we do things differently to other agencies that still have a ‘project’ mentality instead of focusing on value creation.

“Matt’s appointment comes on the back of the success of how we’re doing things (differently) and some of the new clients that we’ve brought in to the agency this year to work with us in this way.”

Lacey, who was head of conversion optimisation at iProspect, was previously at PRWD and for a time ran his own business.

He added: “This is a hugely exciting role; focusing on digital product performance within an agency that has such strong strategic, design and engineering capabilities as part of a complete client package.”
