inTEC acquires Cambridge IT Services provider

Manchester’s inTEC Group has acquired Cambridge-based FROG IT Services for an undisclosed sum.

InTEC, a cloud-based provider of end-to-end technology solutions, has secured has secured a follow-on investment of £1.75m from Duke Royalty to fund the acquisition of FROG, its 13th acquisition since 2016.

The company adds that it has ambitious plans to further extend its geographical reach throughout the UK and Ireland this year.

inTEC specialises in the design, implementation, and support of a wide range of cloud services and business applications including IT managed services, infrastructure support, hosted collaboration and communication solutions. Its clients include Porsche, YMCA and Age UK and many independent schools such as Eton College, Wellington, Harrow, John Lyon, Colfe’s and Cheam.

Richard Fella, managing director of FROG IT Services, said: “This will allow both our customers and staff to benefit from being part of a larger organisation but whose core values remain the same as those of FROG IT.”

This latest acquisition extends our reach across the UK allowing us to deliver even greater value for our clients.”

The latest acquisition will add around 10 to inTEC’s head count and mean that it now has offices in Manchester, Altrincham, Newcastle, Cumbria, Guildford, Sussex, Dublin and now Cambridge.
