The Inspired Spaces North initiative, in association with Active Profile and Prolific North, was backed by headline partner Capital & Centric and supporting partners Brabners, Zut Media, Sheila Bird Group and GVA.
David Wood, Chief Creative Director at Jaywing, said: “It was a project that we had a team working on for the best part of two years from finding the building to working out how to better use the space and it’s been interesting.
“I’ve done a few talks about the building since we’ve moved in because it’s been in the Architect’s Journal and various other publications. I’ve stopped really talking about the design of the space and I’ve started to talk about what it means for the business and how its changed the way we work and the impact that it’s had culturally on the team.
“It’s just been incredible and changed the way we behave, the atmosphere, the feel that you were talking about in a space, it’s been a wonderful thing for us really and very much worth the investment.”

Nick Jaspan, Publisher of Prolific North, added: “What a fantastic night in Liverpool and after a incredibly competitive battle, Jaywing is a deserved winner.
“What this initiative has demonstrated once again is that not only are we blessed in the North with an array of extraordinary workspaces, but also that those spaces have a direct impact on productivity, morale and ultimately success.”
