Trending Travel, which says it’s “the first social media influencer travel company” has been set up in Manchester.
It’s been founded by travel expert, Keith Herman, hotelier specialist Sophie Foster and influencer professional, Suzy Kilshaw.
They believe they have spotted a unique opportunity in the travel sector, while the industry is in decline. The company will send “an army of influencers” to holiday destinations and ask them to post images of their experience, to inspire others to stay at the same hotels.
“Who launches a travel business in a pandemic? We do! The travel industry has taken a knock due to COVID 19 but people will be itching to plan their next holiday ASAP,” said Trending Travel, CEO, Keith Herman.
“We’ll be there with our trusty army of celebs and influencers to give inspiration and make sure those plans become a reality.”
Trending Travel appointed Creative Spark to help with the launch and create the brand’s identity, strategy and website.
“We’ve been talking to Keith, Sophie and Suzy for a while about Trending Travel but who knew how 2020 would evolve? After months of lockdown I think this is the perfect time for us to all be planning our holidays,” added Creative Spark, Founder and Creative Director, Neil Marra.
“We have developed an aspirational brand that reflects the beautiful destinations that Trending Travel represents and we look forward to working with the team going forward to continue to raise the business’ profile. The Sparks team are already booking their dream holidays.”
Kilshaw said that in the first few weeks they gained 50k followers on Instagram.
”People are in need of some inspiration right now and who better to offer that than interesting celebrities going to beautiful places?” she stated
“We aim to open up the world of independent hotels to everyone by showcasing destinations via influencers’ Instagram feeds and then offering those hotels at special reduced prices. Thanks to the Creative Spark team for developing our brand and website that offers the perfect platform to reveal our destinations.”
