HOME, Manchester’s international centre for contemporary visual art, theatre and film, has released the full programme of its new season from October 2015 to March 2016.
It features an array of new commissions, productions, collaborations and site-specific work.
Season highlights include:
- the UK première of HOME’s Christmas production Inkheart, adapted from award-winning author Cornelia Funke’s best-selling fantasy novel for children
- a new version of Macbeth, reuniting director Carrie Cracknell and choreographer Lucy Guerin and starring Anna Maxwell Martin and John Heffernan, who together create a new, dance-infused version of Shakespeare’s popular supernatural tragedy
- the world première of Incidents of Travel in the Multiverse, critically acclaimed artist duo AL and AL’s new multimedia production including film, drawing, installation and live concert hall performance with music by Philip Glass
- an exciting mix of cleverly curated film seasons including James Benning: People and Places, Jim Allen: Still Relevant After All These Years, and From Caligari to Hitler: Weimar Cinema
HOME is based on First Street near Oxford Road train station in Manchester city centre, and replaced the former Cornerhouse cinema.
