Holdens has delivered branding, an e-commerce website and marketing activation for a new visitor attraction in Liverpool’s historic Royal Liver Building.
Opening to the general public tomorrow for the first time since its completion in 1911, the new Royal Liver Building 360° experience offers global audiences the chance to tour some of the building’s hidden secrets.
The experience takes guests from the building’s lower ground floor visitor centre to the 10th floor balcony, before giving them the opportunity to enjoy an immersive audio-visual show inside one of the historic clock towers and to enjoy 360-degree views from the 15th floor tower.
Since launching in early February, Holdens’ social media campaign has reached over 250,000 people with the new website attracting more than 45,000 visitors and selling over 5,000 tickets.
The Manchester agency will now be partnering with Heritage Great Britain to activate the experience through integrated marketing campaigns across social media, digital, print and outdoor advertising.
Ted Holden, managing director at Holdens, said: “When Heritage Great Britain approached us to work on the Royal Liver Building 360° experience, we couldn’t wait to get started. Up until now the building has been closed to the public, so connecting local, national and global audiences with this iconic Liverpool landmark and amazing new experience has been a real privilege.”
