2024 has been another brilliant year at Prolific North, with a plethora of fantastic, sold-out events bringing our community together for everything from large-scale award ceremonies to industry roundtables.
The good news is that 2025 is looking even more packed, with events beginning in January and running all the way through to December.
Here’s a selection of the events to look forward to in the new year:
March 20th | From Growth to Gold: Scaling and selling your agency
Following two hugely successful events in 2024, our From Growth to Gold event series will return to Manchester in March.
From Growth to Gold is for agency owners and senior managers of ambitious digital/tech companies that are looking to scale their businesses effectively or seek to create new revenue streams and reimagine their core operations.
Previous speakers have included Rise at Seven founder Carrie Rose, Ride Shotgun CEO Mark Mallinder, Stein IAS’s Rob Morrice, McCann Central’s Dean Lovett and Journey Further founder Robin Skidmore.
This event, to take place at the home of our headline partner KPMG, will bring together industry-leading figures with decades of experience in scaling and selling marketing agencies.
It’s an unmissable event for owner/directors of ambitious marketing agencies – and we’ll have more details in the new year.
May 8th | Prolific North Champions Awards
Prolific North’s flagship awards event, the Champions Awards, will return in 2025 with a special awards event on May 8th at Emirates Old Trafford, Lancashire Cricket Club.
Once again we will shine a spotlight on the talented individuals, teams, work and companies across the creative, digital and tech sectors in the North and Scotland.

May 20th-22nd | Digital City Festival
Digital City Festival is where ambition meets opportunity. Join founders, leaders and investors who are shaping the future of tech, fuelling the next wave of growth and forging game-changing collaborations.
Now in its sixth year, 2025’s festival will feature a series of events including the Digital City Leaders’ Summit, a two-day event with growth and future themes called GRAFT, and Prolific North’s Tech Companies to Watch list and event.
The festival will culminate with the STEM Marketing Awards, celebrating the groundbreaking ideas and achievements that are propelling the future of science, tech, engineering and maths.

June 10-12th | Northern Marketing Festival
After a hugely successful inaugural Northern Marketing Festival in June, the NMF will be visiting another three cities in 2025 – this time Manchester, Leeds and Liverpool.
As the only large-scale event dedicated solely to the North’s vibrant marketing industry, this event provides a unique platform for connection, learning and inspiration.
It will once again showcase the exceptional talent and creativity within the North, highlighting its contribution to the national and international marketing landscape.
We’ll be announcing more details on this event in the new year.
June 26th | Prolific North Creative Awards
The Prolific North Creative Awards, recognising creative excellence across the North, will be back in Manchester for a third year in June.
We’ll celebrate the top teams, innovative companies, remarkable work and influential people all making their creative mark across the region.

- October 16th: We’ll celebrate the region’s top marketing work and talent at the 13th Prolific North Marketing Awards
- November 6th: Prolific North Live will see industry experts share the latest trends and insights from across media, marketing and digital – here are some highlights from the 2024 event
- November 19th: From Growth to Gold returns for its Leeds edition – here’s a reminder of the 2024 event
- November 20th: Wrapping up our awards season, the Prolific North Tech Awards will identify the rising stars and most innovative businesses in the North’s tech sector
