Manchester creative agency Dawn has welcomed two new designers, Chris Coppen and Ana Rudolph, to its design team, bringing the headcount to 10 members just in time for the studio’s 10th anniversary next month.
Rudolph, originally from Boston, USA, has a passion for typography and photography. She draws inspiration from the world around her rather than digital sources. Ana spent two years teaching English in Spain and enjoys physical art forms such as pottery and making her own clothes. She moved to the UK around three years ago and said: “When I moved to the UK I decided to transition into the world of design and completed a three-month boot camp at Shillington. I sent Dawn an application with my fingers crossed because I was impressed with their level of work and the studio ethos.”
Coppen is a recent graduate from Manchester School of Art and is new to the industry. He joined Dawn to develop his skills and contribute to exciting new branding projects. Chris is a record collector, loves Lithuania, and will be working alongside Ana and the rest of Dawn’s graphic designers, digital designers, motion designers, and web developers.
He said: “I’m at the start of my design career, so it was very important to me that I found a place where I’d be nurtured, encouraged and supported in my role – there’s a lot to learn! After meeting with Dave and Oli, I knew Dawn would be able to give me just that.”
