HAVAS Red has been appointed to launch the new advertising campaign for champagne brand, Piper-Heidsieck.
Twist The Script reveals some of the unique stories behind the company and how it’s been defying convention of the course of its history.
“Piper-Heidsieck is a brand we have coveted for many years, and we are thrilled to have the team on-board as a client,” said Havas Red Managing Director Nigel Hughes.
“‘Twist the Script’ is an incredible campaign with cinematic imagery that expertly tells the Piper-Heidsieck brand story. The champagne house has always pushed industry boundaries, and we cannot wait to push more with them.”
The campaign launched this autumn, with a mural of Miles Aldridge’s campaign imagery in Brooklyn, New York, which was created and implemented by the HAVAS Play team in the US.
Havas Red UK, which has its Northern base in Manchester, is responsible for driving influencer and press office activity in support of the campaign.
“The launch of our ‘Twist the Script’ campaign follows months of exciting preparation behind the scenes, and we are pleased to be working with Havas to bring this to life,” explained Sandrine Pietrement, Piper-Heidsieck’s Global Brand Director.
“The HAVAS Red UK team has been driving UK comms and the HAVAS Play and Formula teams in the US, have brought our mural to life and driven campaign fame for us overseas.”
Some of the stories include the brand’s innovative approach to providing champagne during the prohibition era and its enduring link to Hollywood icon, Marilyn Monroe.
