Airport City Manchester has appointed Havas PR as its retained UK PR agency.
The Manchester office of the agency will deliver a PR programme to support the £1bn development.
“The team at Havas PR has strong knowledge of this project from a local perspective, backed-up with the national and international credentials required for a project of this scale,” said Airport City Manchester’s head of strategic & commercial marketing, John McHugh.
“They bring a mix of industry knowledge and creative ideas, with a proven track record of delivering award-winning campaigns, so we are looking forward to working with them.”
Earlier this week, The Hut Group announced plans for a 1million sq ft office and studio space at the site.
“Airport City Manchester is one of the most exciting development projects underway in the UK today, so we are very excited to be working on this project at such an important time,” said Nigel Hughes, director at Havas PR UK.
“As we’ve seen with the announcement earlier this week, the project is set to seriously step up a gear in the coming months – so there is an important story for us to bring to life on a local and regional level, as well as nationally and internationally.”
