Yorkshire’s IDHL Group has announced record financial performance, with a substantial year-on-year increase in turnover to £10.5 million for the 12 months to 31 December 2016.
Sales for the year ending June 2015 were £7.38m – the company changed its year end to December in 2015.
Profits have risen from £855,000 for 2015 to £2.97m for the year to December 2016.
The Harrogate-headquartered digital marketing group, whose agencies include WMG, Ingenuity Digital (ID) and NetConstruct, also reported improved operating profit margins in 2016.
Last year the Group moved to a 10,000 square foot new HQ in Harrogate.
The group jumped four places from seven to three in Prolific North’s 2017 edition of the Top 50 Digital Agencies: the definitive listing of digital agencies in the North.
Growth was driven by key account wins over the course of the year, including AON, Arthur J. Gallagher and HMV.
IDHL has also made a strong start to 2017, adding a raft of new clients across its three agencies.
CEO Dennis Engel said: “In a challenging landscape for a lot of digital agencies, 2016 was a fantastic year for our Group – we moved into a stunning new headquarters, and made key additions to both our in-house talent and client base.
“Our record financial performance is testament to the Group’s hard work in helping our clients achieve excellent results – results that have also received industry recognition.
“We remain committed to growing further as we continue to attract and retain the best talent across WMG, ID and NetConstruct.”
