Manchester’s Godel has delivered an extensive rebrand for easyfundraising, the charity shopping site that raises donations when you shop online.
Launched in 2005, easyfundraising partners with over 7,000 brands and gives the option to donate to over 180,000 charities without costing the consumer a penny.
With a reported decrease in charitable donations coupled with a rising economic crisis, the charity cashback platform sought a partner that would accelerate the growth of its technical team and help to deliver its ambitious rebrand.
Richard Pogson, CTO at easyfundraising said. “With consumer spending rapidly changing, we were mindful it was a good opportunity to alter our branding and how we talk about the company as a whole. From a technical side, we decided to rebrand and restyle our products that would add new functionalities and analytics to create better user journeys.
“We decided that partnering with Godel would enable us to benefit from their years of experience and accelerate the growth of the team with equally skilled engineers, as quickly and cost-effectively as possible.”
The Godel team has helped to rework easyfundraising’s website, iOS and Android mobile apps, and browser extension products. The team has also completed a donation reminder product for iPhone using new technology from Apple, making easyfundraising only the 2nd in the country to go live with the product.
Pogson added: “We were really impressed with how well the Godel team has integrated with our teams, understanding our challenges and techniques and being able to support us to ensure our products were delivered on time. Godel was also able to offer recommendations and guidance on integrating a brand new QA process, which highlights the value of having a partner like Godel.”
