Global camera rental specialist Camera One has opened a new base in Manchester “to allow our inventory to be more accessible in the North with the aim to become UK’s #1 provider of cameras, lenses, accessories and in-house technical services.”
The company said it chose the location in order to better serve its customers in the North of England and Scotland, and due to high local demand thanks to the number of production companies and studios in Media City.
Originally founded in the US, CameraOne expanded to Europe in 2023, enhancing accessibility and establishing a global presence. It now operates three UK locations in Surrey, Cardiff and Manchester and has built an enviable reputation for the latest gear, the highest levels of service and the most competitive pricing.
Camera One hire coordinator Adam Hardwicke said: “We will continue to provide a great service offering equipment to those that need it with great prices in order to help the industry and productions in the North flourish.
