Leeds-headquartered creative communications agency Intermarketing Agency (IMA) has won a competitive pitch to be consumer electronics leader Hisense’s lead agency in the USA.
The agency, which has an office in New York, will handle Through The Line activity throughout the country, in a reportedly multimillion dollar contract.
IMA’s campaign for Hisense – which has a presence all around the world – will include video, display, social media, PPC, SEO, PR and influencer activity, and attempt to deliver cut-through in a crowded marketplace.
Ultimately IMA has been tasked with driving brand awareness and increasing market share for Hisense, and has developed everything from strategy to creative for the brief.
IMA has worked with the UK branch of the appliances brand since last January, and also works with Hisense in Australia.
David Gold, President at Hisense USA said: “We’re delighted to appoint IMA, who impressed us with their integrated approach. The creative will really resonate with our target audience and the media strategy gives us confidence that the campaign will help us achieve our goals.
“IMA demonstrated a strong understanding of our brand proposition and their ideas have real longevity, making them the perfect agency to collaborate with.”
Nickii Gray, Chief Executive Partner at IMA, added: “We’re thrilled to be working with Hisense in the USA. Winning this contract is further evidence that clients are looking for agencies that can deliver integrated creative and media solutions all under one roof.”
