Two gaming companies have signed up for The Sharp Project in Manchester.
SIGTRAP Games, a small indie game studio, has relocated from Huddersfield and Boomdash Digital, a free to play mobile publisher, has also signed up.
SIGTRAP’s debut product was Sublevel Zero, a strategic shooter set in a universe where reality is falling apart.
It was published by Mastertronic and released on PC, Mac and Linux in October last year.
Boomdash Digital helps to finish and shape existing games to make them more commercially viable.
Sue Woodward, founder of The Sharp Project said: “For two years, we’ve been home to Playground Squad UK, a top European gaming school.
“With Fabrik, Boomdash and SIGTRAP Games joining the fold we are fast becoming recognised as an important base for the games industry in Manchester.
“Gaming is another significant digital sector for The Sharp Project, as well as for Manchester as a whole.”
