Manchester PR agency Future has been appointed by fintech brand Sthaler to handle the UK launch of Fingopay.
The payment system uses vein ID technology that maps the unique pattern of fingers to match customers with their bank cards.
Future, led by MD Nina Sawetz, will support Sthaler’s CEO and marketing team with national PR strategy and handle the roll out of Fingopay in Manchester this summer. The agency will also handle national corporate activity.
Simon Binns, CMO of Sthaler, said: “Future showed a great understanding of what was needed from day one for both the business and consumer audience. Nina has been great at helping us articulate the technology underlying Fingopay as well as the real world benefits.”
Fingopay will be launching to trade and consumers in major cities in the UK and Europe in the second half of 2019. The concept has already proved successful during pilots at Festival Number 6, Proud bar, Camden, Brunel University and Copenhagen Business School.
