Stonebridge is launching a new college specialising in courses funded by 24+ Advanced Learning Loans. This Government initiative offers loans to adults over the age of 24 to cover the costs of college or training courses.

The Foundry associate director Will English, added: “We’re delighted to be working on this exciting new project. With our extensive experience of creating online learning academies we have the capabilities to bolster the credibility of Stonebridge as a leading education provider, while making learning enjoyable for their students”.

Stonebridge provides distance education and home study correspondence courses to students worldwide. The company currently offers over 650 courses in a wide range of disciplines that can be completed either by post or online.

Marketing Director at Stonebridge Associated Colleges, Ian McCall, said, “With more people choosing to further, or even completely change, their career later in life we wanted to offer a totally flexible way to study off- and online that is easy to fund and fit in with your lifestyle. We call it blended learning.”

The Foundry won the project to develop the brand identity for the new college and to write, design and build the website, which is due to go live in September 2014.
