Former THG execs’ ecommerce group appoints new MD ahead of debut partner meet-up

eComplete Group, a leading ecommerce growth partner and investor founded by former THG C-suite executives Paul Gedman and Andy Duckworth, has promoted Anna Graham to managing director.

eComplete Group specialises in assisting clients in their growth agency whilst also embarking on a journey to disrupt ecommerce Private Equity by helping DTC brands with high UK potential become global leaders.

Notably, eComplete Group’s first acquisition in 2021 was CurrentBody – The Beauty Device Experts. Founded by Laurence Newman and Andrew Showman, the company has earned accolades such as two GP Bulldog awards and inclusion in the Sunday Times 100 list of Britain’s fastest-growing businesses.

Duckworth and Gedman founded eComplete in 2021, with a mission to provide eCommerce brands with the foundations to scale that are typically reserved for ecommerce giants.

Within the eComplete Growth Agency Division, eComplete has worked with a number of high-profile brands including Beauty Pie, True Classic and InkeyList.

Graham began her career at THG, working within the Beauty Division under the guidance of Paul Gedman, with experience spanning global markets and driving international M&A projects.

Following her tenure at THG, Anna joined Social Chain as ecommerce director, working with Social Chain co-founder Dominic McGregor. During her time there, she played a pivotal role in the company’s transition from a traditional media and marketing agency to a D2C ecommerce house of brands following a merger with a retailer.

In May 2022, Anna rejoined Gedman at eComplete team as business director, and has now been promoted to the position of managing director.

Gedman, co-founder of eComplete Group, expressed his confidence in Anna’s capabilities: “eComplete is now in the position to be led by a dynamic leader and detailed operator. Our faith in Anna is unwavering and we are excited to see the impact she will have in this role, supported by an incredibly talented team we expect to accelerate our current momentum”.

Fellow co-founder Duckworth added: “Anna’s commitment and passion for our company’s vision align perfectly with our goals for the future. Her journey and expertise in the ecommerce industry make her a natural fit for this role, and we are looking forward to achieving even greater success together.”

Graham said: “I’m thrilled to take on the position of managing director at eComplete Group. It’s a dynamic and forward-thinking company with a clear vision, and I’m looking forward to leading the team and contributing to our continued growth and success.”

The promotion comes ahead ahead of eComplete Group’s first eCommerce meet-up this week. The company will be bringing ecommerce partners, brands, retailers, and marketers together on Thursday, October 19 at KPMG’s St Peter’s Square, Manchester office for introductions from Graham in her new role, and with Gedman and Duckworth telling us more about their mission for eComplete.
